MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF MONESSEN RON MOZER TO ALL
RESIDENTS, BUSINESSES AND VISITORS
As we move forward from the recovery of the effects of a record snowfall within the Mon Valley over the past few days, and the onset of week to ten day blast of Arctic temperatures and lows to come, we would ask all of our residents, businesses and visitors for patience and diligence as we work to dig out of the effects of the storm and return to a sense of normalcy over the next few days.
Our Street Crews are working under very difficult and trying circumstances to remove this great amount of snow which has been dropped on our area over the past few days, and we will promise to get to all of our Streets, Neighborhoods, Alleys and Public Buildings as quickly as possible this week.
In that regard, and for your safety and the welfare of your Family and Friends, we ask that you limit your non-essential travel and movements around the City as we continue our clean-up efforts and snow removal work to return to our daily lives.
We thank you for your patience and support for our Streets Crew, Police, Fire and EMS during these next few difficult days.
As always, we also appreciate your assistance and encouragement as dedicated Monessen Citizens and Friends. You are valued and recognized.
Mayor Ron Mozer, City of Monessen
