Local author Lori Vankirk Schue has a new children's book called, "The Turkeys of Turkey Hollow". Lori will be at the Monessen Public Library on June 7 at 11am to greet the public and talk about her book.  Everyone is welcome to come out and talk Turkey!

"Stan Gordon Presents Strange Encounters of PA" - UFO and Bigfoot Researcher and author, Stan Gordon, will present an illustrated lecture called "Strange Encounters of Pennsylvania," and will cover a history of UFOs. Bigfoot, and other strange incidents that have occurred in Westmoreland County and the surrounding Pittsburgh area, as well as statewide.
